Horticulture Assistant
Environmental Landscape Associates, one of Bucks County's premiered outdoor living design/build companies, is seeking to hire a Horticulture Assistant to add to its growing team. ELA focuses on the creation and installation of high-end and functional spaces to enhance the outdoor living of their clients. The company is located one mile south of Peddlers Village, in Doylestown PA. It is still run by the original founder who stared the business in 1989, servicing Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey.
Responsibilities:

Receives direct supervision from manager, but is also expected to work under own initiative

Maintenance of nursery, display, garden and plant material
-
Daily task: watering, weeding, grounds cleanup

Assists in the housekeeping for the showroom and nursery

Assists with customers in a professional and friendly manor

Assists in plant inventory, labeling, collection of plant material

Assorting plant material for the crews next day

Assists on site landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and setting up plant layouts

Requirements:

Valid drivers license
-
Ability to accept and follow oral and written direction

Knowledge of and ability to learn practices of the company

Maintain good interpersonal relationship

Wear professional attire
-
Ability to correctly use and learn of all tools/equipment

Basic knowledge of PC/MAC computer systems
-
Perform daily task-in-hand
-
Can work 8-10 hr days and available on weekends

Bilingual is a plus
